@Blockhead LOL, it seems like lately I have been getting my enjoyment from other games then MMO's. I have been enjoying the hell out of Tribes Ascend. They fixed all the issues with it and for an FPS PVP, it's fun as fuck. Best of all it's F2P!

I'll check that out, thanks. Friend mentioned Dungeons of Dredmor is pretty good, looks to puzzle based for me though.

Finished ME1 and well into ME2. I still can't get over how into sp games i am again/still. So far i'm sticking to a game and not bouncing around from sp game to sp game. Start it - finish it, enjoy each ride to its fullest.

I honestly thought by the time i finished ME1 i'd might have an mmo craving, but I'm only craving more SP. Thinking after ME2 going to play Fallout NV another game i only started.

I'm surprised at the sheer enjoyment i'm experiencing from SP games again and wonder why it wasn't there for me even a few months ago, even more surprised at my utter disregard for anything mmo, almost to the point of loathing them, even sand box type? I feel whats the point anymore with mmo's, same o same o, its so been there done that now it's sickening.

The parts of SP i think i'm enjoying is a few things, first the thought that there is an end, you know, i played it, i finished it, i enjoyed it, it's over, done and i had a good time. Bring on the next new fresh experience, and from all the SP games I've bought and never played to the ones I'm still waiting for a steam sale, it'll be along time before i run out of new games to play.

Seems you get more enjoyment for your gaming time than mmo's, as in no grinding, any wasted down time, like traveling, leveling, grinding did i mention traveling, lol. Funny thing is i once enjoyed traveling?

The people on forums (fans) are certainly of a different breed, seem much more up for discussions than crying over ever little f'in thing. less whiny?

And the biggest thing i believe I'm enjoying is no one is there messing up my world. It's a whiner, idiot, stupid noob free zone.

Yeah i know I'm burnt out on mmo in general and i avoided SP games so long that i absolutely love them again. I'm really glad i am in love with them again or i wouldn't be playing anything atm.

Good times again.

Another cast already. I'll give er a listen soon.

Well i canceled my swtor.

After playing and finishing ME3, going back to swtor felt really shallow, and then the mere thought of playing any mmo really left me with a huge "MEH" so i started playing ME1, and plan on playing through the entire series again. The ending of ME3 blew me away, ******SPOILER i can't believe they took you into your mind and had you battle against the reapers indoctrination FUCK ME that was FUCKING COOL. i mean seriously how fucking cool is that, not a battle of weapons but a battle of will. ******SPOILER

Been listening to audio books lately, scrapped all the podcasts as well (cept yours of course), kinda "checking out" of the whole internet turd scene as of late and enjoying single player games again??? Skyrim, Rage, ME Series, Alan Wake, L.A. Story, GTA of course.

Honestly i can't believe how much I'm enjoying Single players games again? Once i was introduced to mmo's I've never really had time, or fell back in love with SP games. As an example the entire series for ME i probably spent the least amount of time possible, about 20 hours in each just so i could get back to leveling and progressing toons in whatever mmo i was playing. So far in ME1 i'm 18 hours in and not even close to a quarter the way in, at times i'm feeling like i never played it at all after realizing how much i had missed.

I've not been this enamored with single player games in better part of a decade. Talk about coming full circle, after i fell in love with mmo's i found single player games simple didn't click with me anymore and thought they were a little on the boring lonely side. Now i feel mmo's to be quite boring and simple not worth all the community baggage anymore.

Just me and my worlds.

Very true man! However, SWTOR really has taught me the kind of games/MMO's that I do like and such. It will be a long time before I find a game that I feel paying a monthly fee is worth it. In the end SWTOR felt like more of a multi-player game then an MMO,

Everyone loves a good rant. Dunno maybe some day I'd get up enough nerve and or desire to come on the show as a guest but for now, yeah for now I'd rather stay a faithful listener and poster.

So you canceled your swtor, /jk TOLD YOU SO /jk

I think the weirdest outcome of all this is that i was the one trying to tell everyone this isn't going to be the game they think it's going to be, save everyone from buying this game and here i am the only one still playing? Generally speaking i know some are but so many have left.

I had zero hope, zero hype for swtor and with Rift i pinned it as the next big one one for me, and after a month of six month sub i left.

I think publishers don't want peeps to be happy with a single game they are riding this gravy train of new games as much as we are. imagine if many people stuck with a game or two? New releases would plummet and existing game would get much more attention as that's were all the customers are.
