No comments on Turbines support? LOL That is a cool idea for a build but it stinks of solo play. Meaning most people aren’t going to be open minded to let you pug and seems more of a solo only build. Cool idea though I love it. I hope to not have to do a melee dps mode with my wizard and only in a punch, good idea though. What I was trying to say about Bards and they are not as much of a track of all trades class unless you dip a little but of multi class into them. I might have to work on a build. As far as buffs be being that think that is pathetic that Turbine can’t fix it and see ms like DDO is the bastard child when it comes to fixing bugs and tech support. I mean they have LOTRO working fine and they need the better game to work as well.

You do have some of that “your a gimp†from people that don’t understand the build but then you just start your own lfm for the same thing and good players will come running.
You wanted something good to play that had a short list of requests. You didn’t say shit about pick up group friendly.
Bad players will talk shit and not understand, and you clear the mobs a can rez them after the fight.
Also this build is a hair stronger then the WF 12w/6r/2/m builds for 2 reasons. 1) can heal anyone not just Wf, 2) a lot of the buff spells are just better. FoM, DW, Divine Power, many more.

Good point about the grouping and starting LFM. Having the patience to play it is another thing. Do TWF until lvl 13
Not to mention that Tempest doesn’t hits at 15. I am getting the impression that this build doesn’t get good until lvl 12 to 15 but does look interesting though. Aren’t I also missing some good high end lvl spells as well. -
Your not a clr your a survivalist.
Yes, you have to wait until the higher levels to do different things, but before long every level is a good “levelâ€.
I feel like a lot of builds are in there full power at x level and after that they can become boring, you just are grinding for that 20, or the next time you get a real boost. And that can be a while.
The thing I like the most about this build is how it moves you to the end game.
L1 ranger perks.
L2 clr perks spells
L3 extend and spells
L4 new level of spells.
L5 ok a slow level other then all the 5lvl wands you can use now.
L6 maximize and level of spells
this goes on until lvl 12 and IC: P
L13 TWF
L14 ac boost, stances etc feat
L15 feat and what muiti shot?
L16 this level may also be slow I don’t know a ton about rangers
L17 start to beat Evil Outsiders in the face
L18 GTWF, and tempest I think.
L19 feat
L20 well capped woots.*note, this build was also built as a TR, having a lot of gear that turns on at low levels, I did not add any of those in as perks.
See how it builds? It makes you want to get to the next level.
But in fairness you wont be a laughed at until your 3rd or 4thranger level and by then you wont care.
-
I love what you say here, “See how it builds? It makes you want to get to the next level.”
For someone who can’t stick with one class, maybe that’s what I should be doing.
Here is the problem though. I heard that they are nerfing monks big time with the AC bonus thing.
In this build does it relay on Monk being centered or?
What do you think of this build?

Jack of all Trades Bard Build
looks fine on paper, other then the 3rd rogue lvl and not the 16th bard level.
I have had the same talk with a guildie about a close to the same build : “Rabidly Halfling dps”
http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=220822And that 3rd rogue lvl vs that 16 bard gets me every time.
-
Maybe I’ll do one build on Sarlona and he the opther for Build a Guild. From what I said on the forums until they ever make Warchanter 3 there is no reason to lvl a bard past 15 and the 3 levels of rog seem worth it for the sneak attack. That looks like a cool build as well. I need to decide, survivalist, Jack of all Trades or DPS focused.

The “purple killer” cleric spell is Implosion and rules. Yes.
I too have had people get kinda mean with me while playing my Favored Soul – Rogue. Just recently in a Xorian Cipher group I think there was a rogue who was not too happy to see me spotting and disabling “his” traps. Got some real prissy comments over voice chat…
I agree about customer support, Turbine doesn’t get it. Lots of businesses cut support because it’s very expensive, but I tend to side with people like GoDaddy CEO Bob Parsons that support is where most people have their only in-person interaction with a large company and form much of their long-term opinions based on that experience. Turbine’s customer support is barely existant, pretty much worthless, unfortunately.

Turbine might have a problem adding a new city (at least on Xen’drik). By Eberron canon there’s only two cities on the whole continent, Stormreach and a Riedran one (forget the name, but it’s populated by the same types as are in the Inspired Quarter, and is less than friendly to outsiders). Given that Turbine has to run everything by WotC, they may or may not take kindly to the idea. They might be able to get away with a settlement of a moderate (though not small, like some of the outposts we have now) size. I’d like to see one with a mix of quests in various level ranges, kind of like Stormreach is.
I’d like to see some kind of guild housing that is not super hard to obtain, as well as a few more landscape areas (even if said areas only had 0-2 quests in them…but maybe they could add some named loot, like in the desert).
As a sidenote…Yak, did you pop some horse tranquilizers or something before playing with the DDOcast people this Sunday? You seemed so sedate. When I heard your voice I was expecting some fire and brimstone!

Ok yaks,
Things one I think this is the build you are looking for
http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=217119
This builder is one of the greats.
If you want good dps, good survivability, and want a build that drives you to play until 20 here you go.
Also I think you meant Bards are the cross of a wiz, rog, and fgtr, clr . Because that is what they are. If you like one aspect of that more then another you should look into classes that are more focused in those areas.
The buffs not turning of is a bug that happens with masters touch, you learn to deal or quick log out/in fixes the problem. I once was bugged blind, until I logged out/in.
If you are going to keep the using weapons for your wiz, and have a dps mode I say take weapon finesse and use finesse toys like daggers or what ever you like. I am a TWF rapier man, even when I was using masters touch 24/7, I used 2 rapiers.
